Meet The Team

Wade Wilson RMT, BPHE, OTA/PTA, CPT
Registered Massage Therapist & Co-Owner
Hey everyone! My name is Wade Wilson, and I’m one of the owners of The Recovery Room. I grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, and although my girlfriend and I recently moved to the Niagara region to be closer to her family, I’m excited to continue offering high-quality massage therapy here.
Before becoming an RMT, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education at Laurentian University, followed by a Diploma in Massage Therapy from the Ontario College of Health and Technology. I also hold a Diploma as an Occupational and Physiotherapist Assistant from Sault College and have completed additional training in personal training and biomechanics. I’m a bit of a health nerd too, so when I’m not treating patients, you’ll probably find me deep into a podcast or book about movement, recovery, or anything related to the human body.
I’ve been a Registered Massage Therapist for three years and previously owned a clinic in Sault Ste. Marie. With a strong foundation in movement and human performance, I bring a deep passion for helping people feel and move better through thoughtful, individualized care.
I’ve worked with a wide variety of patients and believe in tailoring each treatment to meet your individual needs, whether you're looking to incorporate massage into your wellness routine or need a tune-up. I especially enjoy helping people improve mobility, restore biomechanics, and prepare their bodies for a long and functional life. Keeping you independent and active is at the heart of what I do.
As a former athlete, I understand how important recovery is, not just to relieve pain, but to address those nagging issues that might be limiting your potential. At The Recovery Room, we don’t just aim to “reset” your body. We help you rebuild so you can maintain the progress we make together.
In my treatments, I often incorporate static and dynamic cupping, as well as instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), when appropriate. If you’re curious about these tools or how they might help you, feel free to ask!
Thanks for taking the time to read my bio - I’m really looking forward to working with you and helping you move better, feel better, and live better.

Madeline Gojmerac RMT, BAH
Registered Massage Therapist & Co-Owner
Hi, I'm Madeline! I'm a Registered Massage Therapist and co-owner of The Recovery Room here in Welland- where I was born and raised, and feel incredibly grateful to now serve.
I completed my diploma in Massage Therapy at the Ontario College of Health and Technology in 2022, after earning my Bachelor of Applied Health degree from Brock University. Before becoming an RMT, I was a competitive athlete. Through years of training, injuries, and recovery, I learned just how impactful Massage Therapy can be for healing, performance, and overall well-being, which is what inspired me to pursue this career.
I'm truly passionate about helping people get out of pain and feel more at home in their bodies. I treat a wide range of concerns including pregnancy related discomfort, sports injuries, postural dysfunctions, and stress related tension. I've also taken additional training in treating the TMJ and offer techniques to help with jaw pain and dysfunction. When appropriate, I love incorporating cupping therapy into my treatments to enhance the effectiveness of your treatment.
Being an RMT is something I feel very fortunate to do. Helping someone move with less pain, breathe a little easier, or reclaim comfort in their day-to-day life is what makes this work so meaningful to me!

Courtney Pettitt MOMSC, CSEP-CPT
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Courtney has always had a strong connection to movement, health, and performance. Growing up as a competitive soccer and ringette player, and now serving as a national-level ringette referee, she continues to stay active and connected to sport both on and off the ice.
Her professional journey began with a diploma in Health, Wellness & Fitness, followed by earning her personal training certification through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. Over the past 14 years, Courtney has worked as a personal trainer and fitness instructor, guiding clients toward improved strength, mobility, and confidence in their bodies.
Courtney’s path into osteopathy began after experiencing her own injuries in 2019. Through treatment, she developed a deep appreciation for the body’s natural ability to heal and self-regulate. This experience inspired her to pursue osteopathic studies in 2021, where she developed a passion for helping others find relief and restore balance through gentle, hands-on care.
Today, Courtney blends her extensive background in movement and fitness with the principles of classical osteopathy to support each patient’s individual needs. She is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where clients feel empowered, heard, and connected to their body’s natural healing process.
Outside the clinic, Courtney enjoys staying active through refereeing ringette, as well as spending time in the gym with her husband- continuing her lifelong commitment to movement and healthy living.
